Shanling M8T flagship tube portable player – the orthodox successor of warm and smooth
After more than three months of repeated polishing, Shanling’s most important portable product of 2024, M8T, is officially launched. Compared with M8, M8T has a brand-new software and hardware configuration, but the core of “Smooth Fi” and the requirements of continuous improvement in tuning remain unchanged. The addition of tubes also adds playability and charm to M8T.
DAC: 2*4191EQ+2*4499EX, flagship positioning, full firepower
M8T adopts the industry's top DAC solution, the top chip AK4191EQ*2+AK4499EX*2 from AKM, which realizes the separation of digital and analog signals, bringing higher flagship indicators, with a signal-to-noise ratio of 135dB and a distortion characteristic of -124dB for each channel.
Each set of AK4191+AK4499EX is responsible for the digital-to-analog conversion of one channel. Compared with the general 1+2 type AK4499EX solution, the 1+1 type solution reduces the clock signal distortion generated in the "Y" type circuit, especially in high sampling rate files, and does not generate noise.
Key configuration: Dual JAN6418 tubes
M8T is equipped with dual JAN6418 tubes, which bring more sufficient current to the acoustic circuit, warmer sound, and more flavor. At the same time, M8T supports three sound modes, namely [Transistor] - [Volume/Linear] - [Volume/Ultra-Linear]. In different modes, the sound quality and charm performance are different, meeting different usage and matching needs.
Audio circuit: Classic architecture and classic materials, shaping warm and mellow sound
In the I/V conversion part, M8T uses the AD45253 high-speed voltage feedback operational amplifier of ADI Company in the United States. With the support of high-precision technology, the error is greatly reduced. The low-pass filter uses the OPA1612 operational amplifier, combined with high-precision thin-film resistors and Panasonic polymer low-loss tantalum capacitors, the I/V conversion process is more efficient and has lower distortion.
In the headphone output part, M8T uses ADI's AD8397, which has the characteristics of large output current and warm and transparent sound. It was previously installed on the two charm models of M5s and M6 and was widely praised. This time it is used again on M8T, making the charm performance of M8T more prominent.
System: Android 13 system, fully open, no SRC troubles
M8T is equipped with Android 13 system, which is optimized and customized on this basis, making it smoother to use. The look and feel is more rounded and harmonious, creating a visual experience that interweaves reality and beauty. The system uses AGLO Android global lossless output technology, has no Android SRC restrictions, and supports pure mode.
