The word "ALBA" is derived from the Romanian word meaning "first ray". The Meze Audio team has a deep musical heritage, and has accumulated experience, technology, and long-term close contact with customers, so it is able to develop products that are highly recognized in the market in the direction that is closest to users, as if ALBA heard that there are many voices in the market that want them to "launch affordable headphones" and developed, although the positioning is entry-level, but the specifications and sound performance have never been compromised, and also deliberately consider commuting, aesthetics and other factors to make an excellent headphone.

A comfortable fit
Inheriting Meze Audio's consistent design language, ALBA follows the design of the high-end ADVAR, but only looks at the appearance, in addition to changing to a mysterious, charming and elegant and stylish, like a bright pearl color, the case is made of a clever combination of zinc alloy and anodized aluminum to ensure the sturdiness of the body, but also give the earbuds a dazzling brilliance.
Despite sharing the comfort, ergonomics and soundproofing of the enclosure design, the ALBA uses zinc alloy and anodized aluminium to provide a tonal difference compared to the non-cutting steel used in ADVAR. Differences in materials affect the stiffness and resonance characteristics of the diaphragm, as well as sound quality. Compared with non-sturbium steel, it has more vibration characteristics, resulting in a tighter and richer low-frequency performance.
10.8mm moving coil unit
The ergonomically designed shell features an ergonomic curved design that fits more comfortably in the wearer's ear and reduces fatigue during long periods of wear. The internal chamber has also been adjusted to match the 10.8mm moving coil unit used, and through the precise magnetic field design optimization, the movement trajectory of the diaphragm can be more effectively controlled, reducing distortion and resonance, and bringing clearer and more stable sound performance. The channel separation technology also enables ALBA to effectively separate the left and right channels, enhancing and expanding the sound field to present a more delicate and accurate sound image.
Switch to a 2-pin socket
Unlike Meze Audio's traditional in-ear headphones, ALBA's detachable cable design has been changed from the usual MMCX to a 2-pin headphone plug, and the manufacturer has specially customized a 1.2m copper silver-plated headphone cable and a gold-plated 3.5mm plug for this purpose, which is definitely comparable to the upgraded cables from the same factory, and maintains the durability. Of course, the 2-Pin design is also very convenient for you to change to other upgraded cables on hand.
Custom USB-C adapter Cable
For a better experience, ALBA comes with a custom USB-C – 3.5mm cable made of the same material used in the cable, built-in DAC/AMP circuitry for superior sound quality, and an even better experience when connected to any phone or music device that supports a USB-C plug, as well as an LED indicator to clearly indicate the connection status.
