The Symphony, a top-of-the-line digital preamplifier and headphone amplifier from the German audiophile brand, is equipped with top-of-the-line components. Even the volume control, unlike typical amplifiers which use carbon brush potentiometers (a carbon conductive ring with an electrode that contacts different positions on the ring during rotation, creating varying resistance to adjust volume), uses dozens of resistors soldered together. Rotating the potentiometer in different positions connects different numbers of independent resistors. Because resistors offer far superior accuracy and conductivity compared to carbon rings, they produce higher fidelity. In high-end audio, this type of volume control is very expensive.

The 83,000uf capacitor can generate a large current in a short time to supply sudden bursts of dynamic music, such as a bass drum. While amplifiers are powered by high-power transformers, even the largest transformer cannot meet sudden energy demands. Buffer capacitors act like oil reserves to handle these unexpected energy surges.

The amplifier is equipped with a full range of input/output terminals... This allows you to connect almost all your home's audio equipment and computer to the headphone amplifier. The two headphone output jacks can be used to connect high-power and low-power headphones respectively.
