Typ711
In-Ear Monitors
Exquisite Metal Craftsmanship
Many users' first impression of the Typ711 is likely that of a highly detailed and metallic-feeling earphone. However, both the interior and exterior of this high-rigidity housing are meticulously designed, as these subtle elements critically impact the driver's potential performance. The earphone shell is developed by a team of engineers with extensive metalworking experience, who have previously worked on tooling and production for luxury watch brands in Switzerland and Japan, as well as for German automotive companies.
Sapphire Crystal Faceplate
The shell is crafted from raw SUS stainless steel via high-precision CNC machining, with a sandblasted surface to enhance its hardness—a testament to exceptional metal processing. Notably, the faceplate is made of sapphire crystal produced by Adamant Namiki Precision, a company specializing in luxury watches and high-end audio components. This material controls air pressure emission and manages backpressure, offering rigidity unattainable by glass or plastic. Every detail ensures that the planar and balanced armature drivers inside perform to their fullest potential, delivering clear bass response.
300 Ear Mold Data Points
Despite its sleek and sturdy appearance, the Typ711 offers exceptional comfort. MADOO analyzed ear mold data from over 300 Asian males across Japan, Hong Kong, China, and Korea to design a shape that fits most users perfectly, ensuring an extremely comfortable listening experience.
MIAA Acoustic Structure
Beyond its unique shell, the Typ711 features a proprietary MIAA (MADOO In-Ear Acoustic Architecture) structure, which maximizes reliability and performance. The driver module, resembling a circuit diagram, integrates all drivers into a single 3D-printed component with precise design. This structure addresses common issues in multi-driver earphones, such as sound degradation caused by soft, bent resin sound tubes, by developing a dedicated acoustic solution.
0.01mm Precision
The MIAA structure secures each driver in place and utilizes acoustically optimized tubes with carefully calibrated diameters, lengths, and filters to ensure optimal sound delivery. After countless tuning sessions and tests, the internal structure is 3D-printed with strict precision control down to 0.01mm, ensuring consistent quality and minimal manufacturing variance. This allows users to fully appreciate the sound quality envisioned by the design team.
Customized Drivers
Staying true to MADOO's philosophy, the Typ711 features a forward-thinking driver configuration with a hybrid design of three planar magnetic drivers and two balanced armature drivers, setting a new reference standard in the earphone industry. The MicroSquare Planar Magnetic (PM) drivers combine a planar coil with a lightweight metal alloy and high-rigidity super engineering plastic diaphragm. The coil and diaphragm are directly driven by powerful magnets, producing a tight, clear, and dynamic sound.
New Hybrid Configuration
Each side of the Typ711 incorporates three MicroSquare PM drivers:
The PSM30101 handles highs and lows, featuring a unique acoustic band-stop filter for penetrating highs and crisp lows.
The PCM90202 covers the mid-low frequencies as the primary driver, delivering sweet midrange and vocals.
The PAM80303 specializes in impactful and distinctive bass, particularly evident in deep double bass performances.
To complement these planar drivers, the team incorporated high-capacity AVX capacitors to support full-range performance. A two-way crossover integrates two custom Summba balanced armature drivers (SBA50201), optimized for mid-high frequencies with fine vibration characteristics to enhance detail and speed. These drivers are ultra-thin, lightweight, highly rigid, low-distortion, and offer wide dynamics with high transparency.
Dual Included Cables
Each Typ711 comes with:
A 3.5mm Pentaconn Ear cable (MRC011) with 4-core silver-plated copper wiring (1.2m).
A premium 4.4mm Pentaconn Ear balanced cable (MRC023) with 4-core silver-plated copper wiring and anti-interference Japanese resin jacket (1.2m).
A leather carrying case and one set of silicone ear tips (S/M/L) and foam tips.
Planar + Balanced Armature
After three years of development, the team focused not only on the refined design and structure but also on driver integration and tuning. The MicroSquare PM drivers divide the frequency range into three parts, making the earphones easier to drive than typical over-ear planar headphones. The hybrid design with two balanced armature drivers ensures a comprehensive soundstage and tuning, easily driven by most DAPs and enhanced with amplifiers for greater dynamics and soundstage. The sound signature is well-balanced across frequencies, clean yet lush, with exceptional detail—ideal for instrumental and vocal-focused music.
